Student Research Funding Application

Please fill out the following to apply for funds to cover your undergraduate or graduate research at Cedar Point Biological Station. If you have any questions about what should be included in these fields, please email us at cpbs@unl.edu. We are willing to discuss everything with you and are happy to help!

Let us know if you are commuting or staying on campus, what type of housing you prefer, and number of days/dates if possible.

Please provide names, housing type (including m/f/n), and number days/dates if already available.

Please list how you plan on your assistant(s) being covered, ie., appling for funding through this application, a lab wil need to be invoiced, the assistants will pay for their room and board themselves, etc.

This is your lodging cost estimate plus any material/resource cost estimate.

Outside Funding Details

List dollar amount of outside funding and where it is coming from (NSF grant, lab, etc.)

Please describe the limitations of your outside funding.

This is your total amount of funding needed minus your outside funding. Ex: you need a total of $3,000. You have $750. You would write $2,250.

Please describe what the expected impact from your research would be for CPBS, yourself, and/or the world at large.
