Volunteer Information

We always have work to do here on campus in rural Ogallala! We love for anyone to come out to help with day to day work, but for the more big-picture/goal-oriented, there are several active projects. These projects include such things as:

  • Eastern Redcedar control
  • trail building
  • trail mapping
  • painting
  • cleaning/restoring old buildings
  • correcting or completing missing bibliographic information
  • correcting/updating species lists
  • deep cleaning current use buildings
  • repurposing certain structures

If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Jon for more details about what projects you would like to participate in, as well as available housing if you wish to work but don't live in the area. If you are interested in helping us physically or finacially, please do! We love volunteers whether they be regular or random.
